Finding Caidence

___“Why did this thing have to be buried in such tough clay! It better be worth a lot after all that effort!”
___“So what do you think it is?”
___“I dunno, but Dr. Sacred might...”
___“Yeah, let‘s go show him!”
___Moments later both young research assistants were standing before Siren with anxious expressions. Even with his gentle smile he still made them uneasy, his statuesque beauty almost unnatural. Noticing them he quickly finished his business with Thirteen to properly address them.
___“So, what can I do for the two of you?” Siren welcomed then, his turquoise eyes sparkling benignly.
___“We just found something we think might be important!”
___“Yeah, it‘s some sort of silver capsule?”
___“Really now, let‘s take a look then,” Siren exclaimed, his calm never wavering as they unwrapped the recent find. His pale slender fingers expertly caressed the surface, his keen eyes detecting the nearly imperceptible line of demarcation running it’s length. One smooth motion had the device sliding open, two astonished gasped falling from the assistants lips as a tight hiss sounded out.
___“So what do we have here?” Siren breathed, carefully inspecting the contents. The inside was filled with what some sort of white cloth, a protective cushion it seemed for a small grungy dark blue pellet.
___“It‘s a rock?!” one of them blurted confused.
___“The ancients had air tight containers for their special rocks?” the second research assistant commented equally baffled.
___“I‘m as surprised as you but I venture to guess it‘s a seed.” Siren explained, tilting the container left and right for further inspection.
___“Must‘ve been a highly prized plant for it to be carried like that.”
___“Yeah, I wonder what kind it was? We should do a comparative analysis to find out!”
___“Actually I think I’m just going to plant it.” Siren decided, sliding the casing closed. “Now that it‘s been compromised by the atmosphere I hate to lose it‘s germinating potential by putting it through a lengthy analysis.”
___“Oh, I guess you‘re right…”
___“Do you want me to take it to the Hydroponics Lab?”
___“No, I‘ll take care of it myself. Why don‘t you continue your dig in the plot site. Hopefully there‘s more where this came from.”
___“Yes Sir, we‘ll get right on it!”
___“And thank you for your diligence with this project. I appreciate everything you‘ve done to help me.”
___“There are hundreds of people who would kill to be here. It‘s an honor Dr. Sacred.”
___“I feel like your praise is a bit unwarranted but I hope this assignment stays in such high regard among my assistants.” Siren demurred, smiling gently once more. His expression was so beautiful it literally took both assistants breath away, each stupefied into silence as he walked away.
---------
___Legato?” Siren breathed, surprised to find her in the Hydroponics Lab. It’s expansive structure resembled a true Urth garden more than anything and she was obviously taking advantage.
___“I know,” Legato sighed exasperated, rolling her eyes. The crew had been griping all afternoon about her lazing. “I really don‘t have anything better to do.”
___Siren couldn‘t help but chuckle, appreciatively taking in the long lines of her supple body stretched across the lounge chair. Her usual form fitting combat attire- which was sinfully delightful in itself -was now replaced by an even more tantalizing deep purple swimsuit. It was entirely one piece but split erotically down the center with revealing curves along the sides. Her pert round breast were proudly displayed for a certainty.
___“I apologize for the lack of excitement my dear.” Siren laughed. “Tis better to err on the side of caution I‘m afraid…”
___“My kittens are sleeping under the Hydrangeas if that‘s any indication of how much erring is involved here.” Legato informed her client as if to drive home her point.
___“Well that‘s most certainly a first, but if they can rest I know there‘s nothing to fear.”
___“Absolutely nothing,” Legato pouted, stretching with a small moan before rolling over to let the artificial sunlight warm her back. One smooth flick of her head removed the glistening blanket of raven hair from her back, showcasing her curvaceous body. A ludicrously slim waste tapered into two thick thighs and a perfect bubble of a rump. It was almost distracting, but Siren was no stranger to her beauty. In fact he didn’t give it more than a passing thought as he turned to leave.
___“Enjoy your rest while you can,” Siren recommended, leaving Legato and her 'kittens' behind. It was time to see if his new seed would germinate.
